Today we travelled 85 miles from home to Harwich to catch the ferry over to Esbjerg in Denmark, in warm sunny weather for a change. We boarded the boat at 4.30 along with 130 motorbikes (mostly Harley Davidsons). And some old steam engines.

We wanted to show all those sceptics what can be achieved with a folding camper. 7th June - Oslo. Then we tried a T-bane ride (cross between Metro and train) out to Holmenkollen, where the Olympic ski-jump is. We were able to go up in a lift, followed by at least 100 steps up a grated stairway to the very top!

The Travelmoores in 2011. April - Easter at Rolvenden. We have just spent 4 beautiful days at a Temporary Holiday Site, which was set up at Hole Park, Rolvenden. As you can see, a basic field with just a water tap and an Elsan point, but it was a lovely setting and very peaceful, especially after the hectic week we had just had. Got to La Paz, after cusco, via the floating islands near puno (8hrs) - lake titi kaka. then through to the bolivian side (5hrs) to island of the sun and copacabana. bus to lapaz (6ish hours) flew to the amazon runenabaque, and did a tour up the river to the pampas. amazing, saw hundreds of animals, sloths, anteaters (giant) anacondas, crocs, birds, etc. Catching a flight to the middle of the amazon in a tiny plane makes you feel like indiana jones.
