Saffron Caffe: February 2009
http://saffroncaffelp.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 5, 2009. I have started to love all things Saffron. If it is orange, I notice. Especially if it is saffron orange arranged with enticing shades of black, yellow or coffee brown. Recently I saw this butterfly here in Luang Prabang. I'm sure it has an official name, but I am calling this the Saffron Butterfly. It is a beautiful creature and fitting for this enchanting city. Saturday, December 27, 2008. I ♥ Cappuccino! Links to this post. The Saffron Espresso Caffè actually sponsored a soccer team this year for a Christmas tournament in a country village that is home to one of our workers. Without ever even practicing we placed 6th. But, then again, there were only six teams! But we had a LOT of fun and all the guys from our shop had a blast playing. (They also liked the T-shirts! Maybe we will practice up for next year and make the final 3! Links to this post.

Lazy days in Luang Prabang | no planes from Bremen to Seremban
https://noplanes.wordpress.com/2008/12/08/lazy-days-in-luang-prabang
No planes from Bremen to Seremban. Lazy days in Luang Prabang. The first road-sign we saw. We really did very little on day two. But the nice thing is that Luang Prabang doesn’t even make you feel bad about it. We changed our guesthouse, as our first find was a little far from the centre and also got quite cold at night. Even though we already are in the South-East Asian tropics, it still gets quite cold in Northern Laos. Rise and shining…after a freezing night in our first guesthouse. View from Phu Si.
