MySQL RENAME TABLE IF NOT EXISTS is not supported Prestashop update. November 8, 2012. MySQL RENAME TABLE IF NOT EXISTS is not supported. I had a problem today doing a massive update SQL script for Prestashop. I could not do the update via 1-click update module. It gave quite a few of SQL errors. So, I am getting the sql scripts and running them manually and fixing what is wrong. I do not know why, but my database seems to have some of the new tables. MySQL does not support. RENAME TABLE IF NOT EXISTS.
