Saturday, November 22, 2008. Saying goodbye is never easy, however, knowing that we were sending our son into the Lord's hands for the next 2 years made it some what better. We will miss him but we are very greatful for Chance's choice to serve. Thursday, November 20, 2008. Chance's farewell was Sunday November 16th at the Riverview Ward. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Goodbye MTC hello Chile. Tuesday evening the mission presidents wife called the house and said that Chance had arrived, that he is happy and excited to do the Lords work. That meant the world to me. He will do so good! Be proud. I know its so so so hard and I dont even know how you do it but it will be worth it and he will be home before you know it! Its no wonder that our society is becoming more selfish, more dis-respectful and less social! I've decided that its time to rejoin society, I am going to hang up before I get to the check out, go out of my way to create small talk with the checker and make it a goal to get a smile out of the person standing in front of me.
