Alex and Sam's Adventure Blog. OFf to run the namibian desert! So nutter Alex is off to run 250k across the Namibian desert today! This is part of the 4 Deserts. Tour - which includes the famous Marathon des Sables. During each stage checkpoints are located approximately every 10 kilometers / 6 miles along the course. All checkpoints include shade, water for drinking (normally in a large bottle for pumping), volunteers to check you in and offer support and medical staff. Create a free website.
