Shedding Perfectionism | Two Feet and a Heartbeat
https://twofeetheartbeat.wordpress.com/2016/11/04/shedding-perfectionism
Two Feet and a Heartbeat. Let your heart lead you and your feet will follow. November 4, 2016. I’ve been a perfectionist for just about as long as I’ve had boobs. It’s just a fact. Actually, now that I think about it, the two painful P’s-puberty and perfectionism- may be linked for a reason. Deep breaths…and an overwhelming dose of self-love. This is my journey. My path. My process. I’ve developed awareness around my obsessive, need-to-contain, perfectionist ways in recent years through...I’m guess...

Two Feet and a Heartbeat. Let your heart lead you and your feet will follow. 4 Ways to Create Mindfulness. June 24, 2016. Support mindfulness and mental health by purchasing one of my mindful partner’s wicked tanks. Outta. Donates 10% of proceeds to mental health initiatives. We must have an awareness of something in order to change it. It’s just that simple. We can’t create shifts in our lives if we spend most of our time in the dark. Elf I’ve built up a collection of about a dozen journals over m...

Two Feet and a Heartbeat. Let your heart lead you and your feet will follow. Fear Surfacing Post-NY’s Resolutions? January 13, 2016. January 13, 2016. Many of us felt like we set the world on fire with our New Year’s Resolutions this year- I know I did. In truth, I really feel that way. I’m going big and being bold in 2016. Does this sound familiar? The only thing standing between me and abundance is mindset. FEAR. It’s likely the case for you, too. Means it is no longer attached to me. It has been i...

The (mis)adventures of a teacher in the great and wild North. Sunday, 20 July 2014. Yesterday I had the pleasure of celebrating my amazing friend Katherine's first of two bachelorette celebrations thrown by yours truly. It took place in gorgeous Blue Mountain which is about 2 hours north of Toronto. First we went to the incredible Scandinave Spa. It was an experience! Back to the massage. I was greeted by my petite masseuse who welcomed me into a dimly lit room and gave me my instructions, remove all...

Under the sheets @ PYC. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Monthly Archives: September 2014. September 27, 2014. I find myself craving deep rest throughout my yoga practice, and yet when it’s time for Savasana I’d often rather be running a marathon! Everything I’ve learned about yoga so far has taught me to stay put when things get uncomfortable and acknowledge times for rest. To me, that’s exactly what Savasana is about: being still and restoring. Are important, your practice matters, a...

Two Feet High and Rising
Saturday, March 26, 2011. This was a quick and easy sort I created within minutes. I was working on making some other food trays and E was playing around with some of the things I have stored away. He pulled out the pom poms and started spooning them into some bowls. I made a joke about the purple ones looking like grapes and things began to snowball. Soon, the red ones were cherry tomatoes, the tiny green ones became peas, yellow turned to corn, and the pink ones were cherries. Sid the Science Kid.
