Monday, June 30, 2014. Brother swam with the 7/8 team and Sister is with the 6 and under group. The first night of practice to say Brother was overwhelmed is an understatement. He struggled swimming the straight 25 meters and realized he was one of the only kids who had never done swim team before. He came home pretty defeated and more than willing to leave his swim team day(s) behind. Freestyle / Sister (taking a big breath to make it to the wall). Sunday, February 6, 2011. He’s 4 years old! 4 years ago I was on the way to the hospital, hoping I would make it in time, and wondering who this little boy I was about to meet would be. I have to admit that he quite surpassed any expectations I may have had. He was born with big curious eyes that took in the world around him. In hindsight, I think he was just taking it all in for the day he would be mobile. He’s a peacekeeper and a leader and keeps us in line around here. Happy 4th Birthday, Bryce!
