We had a pretty sparse selection of food in the fridge and after much debate and trying without success to find a recipe online, I decided to just throw everything together in a big pot. Well, it turned out to be fantastic. Go me! The recipe is below. The amount makes enough for 2 with plenty left over for lunch the next day. 2 Fresh ears (sp? 1 Red Bell Pepper.

Sunday, May 15, 2011. No More Complaining, Here's a Post. Ok seriously, where does the time go? The Wedding: Planning this little shindig seems to have taken over my life. The good news is we finally nailed down a date and location and even signed a contract! The big day is May 12, 2012 at the Miramonte in Palm Desert. The one year countdown has begun. I have so much to do still! Out of budget of course! Work: Blah, no one wants to hear about that. We painted all these baseboards in one night. Not fun.

Monday, May 30, 2011. Every weekend should be a 3 day weekend! It's hard to see the ocean because it's still cloudy, but we had a beautiful view. What you can't tell from this photo is this hill was more like a cliff. It would have been easier to go down if I just sat in the dirt and slid. 85 miles in under 3 hours. We are rockstars! I kind of love it. Here is the current state of the bathroom. Really anything is going to be an improvement on this. Apparently this BBQ is 30 years old, but it works!

Monday, July 25, 2011. Wedding Countdown - 9.5 Months to go! As usual, time is slipping by way too quickly. How is it the middle of Summer already? Tyler and I have been busy bees and have some great updates on the house, but one of the first casualties of our busy schedule has been picture uploading. It has slid to the last thing on my to do list so those house updates are going to have to wait until I can find time to post pictures. I also finally picked my beautiful bridal party!
