Thursday, December 13, 2012. To be honest. I have just not been in to blogging lately! I don't know if it's because I have been so busy or what! So I'm just going to do a quick little catch up and then hopefully I can keep up on things! To celebrate our anniversary this year we decided we would do something really awesome :) We were so close to Chicago that it was the obvious place to go! The Adventures of Tyler and Brandon. Tyler decided to dump the bottle of baby shampoo into the bath water. And then dad turned on the jets. HELLO BUBBLES! Cousin Nathan is 1! Tyler and Nathan went to Build-a-Bear Workshop to celebrate Nathan's 1st birthday. Tyler made a Mizzou tiger and named him George, and Nathan made a dog. They had a great time. Ugh! They get the white t-shirt treatment when they are sick. Neither one can handle their secretions so they vomit all the time. Double UGH! Tyler is a good big brother and helps Bailey watch the iPad while she takes her breathing treatment. I couldn't think of any reason we needed to go. First day of school.

Insert witty and artistically progressive perceptions here. Monday, April 18, 2011. The park was huge and had everything from a kids play area to 4 huge dog parks. I felt so weird going to a park without my dog, it made me want to get one even more. Since I have always had pets around it feels so different without them. Tyler and I are currently debating on getting a cat in the near future, but we will see how everything works out. This weekend we will be celebrating our first family Easter together!

I loooooove this time of year. this time when we can pause from our busy lives and remind ourselves how much we have to be thankful for. i've always felt that our family was beyond blessed. we have our ups and downs, but life is so, so good. This year around thanksgiving i made a resolve to recognize my blessings more readily and express more gratitude to my Heavenly Father for them.
