A big round of applause for our amazing orangery project team and our team mates at City of. And Nimbus Conservation - we have just won the English Heritage Angel Award in the 'people's choice' category for our rescue of this great building. This means that lovely Telegraph Subscribers and English Heritage Members thought our project was the best - hooray! Our team with the judges and presenters. We've officially entered the festive season! The decs have gone up at Home Farm and it seems that cast iron cattle stalls, timber roofs and feeding troughs are perfect for hanging baubles and garlands on! We're kick starting our festive events this weekend with expert Sarah Pepper. Our retail team have done us proud and the shop is looking amazing. Better than trudging around a packed high street! What an amazing year - we've just clocked 200,000 visitors! The highest we've seen in one year and we're still counting! This puts Tyntesfield in the top 5 most visited attractions in Bristol and in the top 10 in the West of England. Wow! We surprised our 200,000th visitor Sheila Fox and her husband Richard from Portishead with a little gift of vouchers to spend in our shop. Lucky them! They then went off to have a nice stroll around a rather windswept estate. We've officially entered the festive season!

Pumpkins at the ready. Our gardeners, the Brandon Trust and our lovely volunteers have been hard at work perfecting their legendary pumpkin display. Come and see the dislay in the kitchen garden and if you are real pumpkin fan why not come along to our pumpkin weekend on 22 and 23 October. 20 November 2012 at 10:21.
