A place to share what life brings my way. Friday, May 15, 2015. T has been more than a week since we've been home and I had really meant to continue to post all this time but I tell you what, I have had a TERRIBLE time with jet lag! I've been going to bed by 8pm almost every night and some nights I would even fall asleep earlier. My afternoons would drag me around. I've been trying to get caught up on all the things that I left behind. As we headed out of town the weather was gloomy and rainy. Fishing bo...

A place to share what life brings my way. Monday, April 27, 2015. Sunday the 26th of April. I slept in the longest I ever. Here in Uganda, 7am. We woke to a very cool and cloudy Kampala this morning. More than I've seen so far. (I actually wore my fleece in Church, they always have all the doors and windows open and it gets very breezy in there.). Dn James decided to serve today and so I got to hear lots of English, mixed with the Lugandan. There were many more children this week than last. There were 2 ...

A place to share what life brings my way. Thursday, May 26, 2011. My dad has been through the wringer over the last several years. Back in 2006 and 2007 he fought throat cancer. I asked for prayers. For body and soul. Last summer he had a heart attack and we went to visit. Prayers were asked. For body and soul. Just about a month ago, he had open heart surgery, a double by-pass. He was doing great! But it is completely unrelated to his heart. I know enough to know that if it be cancer, it isn't good.
