Whichendbites: Two patients.
http://whichendbites.blogspot.com/2007/10/two-patients.html
Einstein : Not everything that can be counted counts. And not everything that counts can be counted. Monday, 8 October 2007. Two patients limp into two different medical surgeries with the similar complaints. Both have a great deal of trouble walking, both are in considerable pain and appear to need a hip replacement. This is later confirmed following all of the relevant examination processes. Why the different treatment for the two patients? Patient A is an MP; patient B isn't! Cynical, am I not? Patien...

Einstein : Not everything that can be counted counts. And not everything that counts can be counted. Wednesday, 17 October 2007. Einstein : Not everything that can be counted counts. And not everything that counts can be counted. Wednesday, 10 October 2007. It appears that heads have been above the parapet concerning a variety of statistics that can be wrongly interpretted and Forces unfairly criticised. If I believe the reports, Chief Constables have raised objections over rules that seem to pander to ethnic minority groups. Police minister Tony McNulty admits that curbing Police Bureaucracy remains a work in progress. The danger...

Einstein : Not everything that can be counted counts. And not everything that counts can be counted. Wednesday, 17 October 2007. I'm sure you've heard people talking about religion on the news or the radio and have formed the view that anyone who even thinks anything to the detriment of a certain religion is castigated as one of the 'ists. Well this guy has his own views, as we all do. He talks some sense with a little humour. Http:/ www.liveleak.com/view? 5 November 2007 at 22:10. 1 July 2009 at 08:58.

http://whichendbites.blogspot.com/2007/10/highlighters.html
Einstein : Not everything that can be counted counts. And not everything that counts can be counted. Tuesday, 23 October 2007. There appears to be a growing trend to add things to reports that are circulated. This evil is the fashion to highlight things in the most irridescent, bright colours that can be found. Some reports are so bright you need sunglasses to read them. Hi-vis marker pens. They aren't big and they aren't clever. Area Trace No Search. Can I suggest a comment in support? Subscribe to: Pos...

Charlie Lima: August 2007
http://charlielima999.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 29 August 2007. Today at 7 am the prison service went on strike. The strike is illegal, the same as it is with us police officers it is illegal for prison officers to go on strike. However they have still gone on strike! The reason for their strike, the government haven't given them the pay rise they wanted for the last two years and they have to deal with more and more violence. Would we go on an illegal strike? No probably not and why? PCSO's however are allowed to join a trade union! Part o...

Life on Mars: December 2007
http://samtyler.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, 8 December 2007. I think today had to be the slowest, strangest day at work for a long time. Call number one was to an argument between neighbours/ex-lovers (at 8 O'clock in the morning! The next call was to a disturbance in the street that turned out to be a male detaining someone for stealing his moped. Unfortunately by the time we arrived (very quickly! He had let go after an angry crowd had formed around him. After an extensive drive-around. And was restored to its owner. Back to the statio...

Life on Mars: A nice change
http://samtyler.blogspot.com/2008/07/nice-change.html
Monday, 14 July 2008. Well not much going on near Tyler, I've been away and on assignments involving very little police work for two months or so. I'm sure something will inspire me to put pen to paper in the near future. My colleagues on response teams around the country will know what I mean. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Life on Mars: February 2008
http://samtyler.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 26 February 2008. Today was quite "Q" which meant I had a chance to get on top of my crimes and related paperwork. My colleague also had a few bits and bobs to do which was handy and I got a chance for the odd cup of tea which was nice. Occupant - "He's not here". My colleague - "Well where is he then? O - " I don't f* *in' know you smarmy b*tch - don't get smart with me". What like being unemployed and pissed at 10am? Who makes these people? Once we'd finished up there we went looking for someo...
