Stuart Parr for Brookside: September 2014
http://brooksidetelford.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Monday, 22 September 2014. Open meeting to discuss improvements to the dip. There is an open meeting at the Surestart Centre at Windmill School on the 24th between 7pm and 9pm to discuss improvements to the dip (also known as the hollow) between Bishopdale and Blakemore. It's a great open space but it collects rubbish and attracts fly tippers. There has been some really good feedback already on how it can be improved and this is a further opportunity to put across your ideas. Monday, 15 September 2014.

Stuart Parr for Brookside: August 2014
http://brooksidetelford.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 26 August 2014. I did the ice bucket challenge yesterday after my eldest son kindly nominated me. I think the kids enjoyed pouring water and ice over my head a little too much. There were so many people I wanted to nominate but in the end I went for my second oldest son, a couple of colleagues from work, a former colleague and my mother-in-law. Labels: Ice Bucket Challenge. Stuart Parr for Brookside: February 2015
http://brooksidetelford.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, 26 February 2015. Ideas needed for youth council. Before Tuesday's meeting of the Policy Committee myself, Cllr Hogger and Cllr Watkin had a working group on a Stirchley and Brookside Youth Council. We will be in touch with the local schools to discuss it with them but lots of young people in the parish don't go to Lakeside so we are looking for other ways of engaging young people in the parish to help decide how a youth council will work and make sure that it means something to them. Last year...

Stuart Parr for Brookside: Election results
http://brooksidetelford.blogspot.com/2015/05/election-results.html
Tuesday, 12 May 2015. I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who voted for me in the elections and especially to those people who came and talked to me at the polling station on the day. Myself and Lynda sadly didn't get elected to the borough council but we did get 24% of the vote between us. However, we were both returned to the parish council with the third and fourth highest number of votes which is fantastic. So here were the final results:. Arriva Buses - Brookside Timetable.
