http://whisperinginferno.blogspot.com/2008/07/ponoko-rocks.html
Not a lot makes me angry; in fact, it is most rare for me to even get slightly mad. However, sometimes, but not often, something just has to give and you awaken the whispering inferno.I am Mr Reasonable and reasonable I am, just don't push it. Thursday, July 17, 2008. I'd been a bit nervous of trying out the very cool Ponoko. And then I met a Ponokoite and he gave me a two minute overview. Miki Szikszai: Why would Telecom NZ launch an 850 MHz UMTS network?
http://szikszai.blogspot.com/2008/08/why-would-telecom-nz-launch-850-mhz.html
Thursday, August 07, 2008. Why would Telecom NZ launch an 850 MHz UMTS network? Mauricio posted this rumour. Earlier today that Telecom. Is looking at UMTS at 850 MHz on a nationwide basis. I have no idea if this is true or not but I thought I'd assess it in advance on the off-chance it is true. In the end, it does not matter about differentiating on features and services if you haven't got three basics at the same level as the rest of the market. In order, they are. 1 Coverage (Where can I use it? 1 Cov...

Miki Szikszai: Obama, the hype cycle and fish
http://szikszai.blogspot.com/2008/11/obama-hype-cycle-and-fish.html
Wednesday, November 05, 2008. Obama, the hype cycle and fish. Along with a few billion of my fellow earthlings I've been following the election in the US today. You gotta like the. Acceptance speech of Obama. Hardly referred to himself, but primarily to his call for change. Masterful. This quote is the one I liked most. . This victory alone is not the change we seek. It is only the chance for us to make that change. And that cannot happen if we go back to the way things were. CEO Subscribe to my RSS feed.

Note That: June 2007
http://notethat.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Notes on software development, psychology and life in general. Monday, 11 June 2007. I've been officially a Team Lead for a while now but this week it's really started to feel like it. Design was interesting, new to me and provided lots of scary opportunities to stand in front of clients and try to explain myself but it was nothing like this week. Firstly, I was then leading a team of. uh. me. Not so much leadership required, although more than you'd think! Summary of how it's gone: I'm exhausted. Hoping...

Note That: July 2008
http://notethat.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Notes on software development, psychology and life in general. Tuesday, 15 July 2008. I have apparently been memed. How old were you when you started programming? 18 - first year of university. How did you get started in programming? I was studying business analysis and decided I should do Programming 101 so that "when I had to work with programmers I would have some idea what they were talking about.". Turned out that programming is a lot more fun that business analysis, so I ended up changing majors.
