Sunday, July 31, 2011. Save the date idea. This is our idea for save the dates. I had the idea and John did the artwork - what a team! It will be a lot cleaner and some of the details will change (for example, it will say "pub" not "bar", because that seems classier). And it will open accordion fold. Dress shopping continues (and life goes on otherwise). Hello, ladies. It's been another steamy weekend in DC. And not in a sexy way either. Man oh man, it's hot out. What do you think? Friday, November 18, 2011. Last weekend was John and my Catholic marriage preparation retreat weekend. I was sick for most of the weekend and most of this past week, which made it particularly challenging. I'm still digesting how I feel about the whole thing. John and I have agreed to do some research and spend some more time thinking about the Catholic-ness of our wedding. A few of my take-away thoughts:. 6 I feel uncomfortable with public prayer. 9 The food was terrible. Terrible.

Random thoughts of my 1st semester @ a "College". On: Friday, December 17, 2010. The amount of adolescent obnoxiousness was astounding. Yet, a bit surprisingly, I believe I learned quite a lot. I went into this semester without a single college credit hour under my belt and having graduated over ten years ago. I rarely felt like the old guy, but sometimes someone would say something like, "I was in kindergarten when you graduated high school.".
