A fool’s fairytale | Unassorted stories

https://unassortedstories.wordpress.com/a-fools-fairytale

Cinderella, the lost version. Please, protest me (relay-poem). She cried when I met her. A short true story. I’m not so sure if I’m happy with this present. The princess looked puzzled. What on earth do you do with a dragon’s egg? Hide it in the woods and hope that its mother won’t find you? She looked half amused, half scared at the green egg that lay before her on the golden table. Puffs of steam evaporated from it, even though there’s was not a single crack in the shell. Who gave it to you anyway?

Cinderella, the lost version. Please, protest me (relay-poem). She cried when I met her. A short true story. The dog who couldn’t bark. I’ve been nominated on Facebook for the poetry challenge: five poems in five days, and every day an invitation to somebody to join. It’s a great excuse for me to spend more time on blogs that I don’t visit often enough. This man makes me smile, makes me think, makes me want to read, makes me want to write. His short tales are fabulous too, I recommend a visit! View Procr...

Cinderella, the lost version. Please, protest me (relay-poem). She cried when I met her. A short true story. Cinderella, the lost version. Please, protest me (relay-poem). She cried when I met her. A short true story. Please, protest me (relay-poem). How can it be? Raped, sold into slavery. I am Charlie –. I want to be free. I have no words to recount the stories on girls who are sold into slavery and raped by their ‘owners’, as part of warfare. They are to horrible. I wrote this poem instead. I want to invite you to turn this into a relay-poem. I hope you will create a piece inspired by it. Pingback: Poem / Po...

I would have turned my back on her, because I can’t stand crying women. Something about her eyes made me look at her again. There was something strange about them, but what? 31 Poems in 31 Days. Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Poetry Prompts - For All the Loves You've Loved Before. The time is drawing near for the last day of OctPoWriMo and this poetry challenge. What phase of love are you in, before, during, or after? Is your beginning love story one of magic or of fumbling awkwardness? That (mostly) doesn't...
