Isis Rushdan: April 2013
http://isisrushdan.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 26, 2013. Quickie: Hot, Hot Summer. May is just around the corner, right along with the release of some of the biggest summer movies. A ton of good flicks are scheduled to come out, too many to name. Here’s my list of what I’m anticipating the most. Who doesn’t love RDJ as Tony Stark? So psyched about this one. Leo looks like the perfect obsessed Gatsby in the trailer. New one below. Star Trek Into Darkness:. The villain in this trailer reminds me of a young Alan Rickman. Links to this post.

Only Time Will Tell. Laquo; Hi, everyone. Living on the page. October 8, 2013 by writerleerobertson. I know book promos on blogs are tiresome, but I can’t resist sharing that two fellow. Authors have novels out! By Level Best Books editor Barbara Ross:. I spied a recipe for lobster macaroni and cheese. At the end of the book, so I’ll definitely be checking that out. And, I admit, I’m a sucker for any novel or story set by the sea. Surprising, huh. Then we have Michael Nethercott’s. I’ve never atten...

Ramblings from Sylvia in East Tennessee. Tuesday, June 17, 2014. After lo, all these years, we won't say how many, I finally have a contract with a traditional publisher. They're a small press, but seem nice. And hey, it means somebody besides me thinks my writing is worth publishing. Even got a small advance! Who said dreams don't come true? They don't have a release date yet for - drum roll, please -. Requiem for a Party Girl, a Cameron Locke mystery. Will post when I know the date. Links to this post.

Cat Tales: Building the House
http://dlocat.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html
Per Helsie's suggestion here are a few pictures and a bit of the story about when we built our house. Phillip and me putting sheathing on the back wall. Marsha and me putting on the shingles. The roof was steeper than it looks in the picture. The toe board was the only thing keeping us from sliding off. Here I had put some of the windows in. My work was willy nilly sometimes. Marsha, me and Jay in our living room. This was taken several years later. I think the house was finished at this point. My dad ha...

Cat Tales: Mittens and Patches' Story
http://dlocat.blogspot.com/p/mittens-and-patches-story_2.html
Mittens and Patches' Story. This first story might be a bit off color to some of you. I was raised on a farm (reared if you prefer, I dislike the word). Acceptable speech has changed so much in my life time I don't really have a handle on what is and what is not acceptable these days. That out of the way, on with the story. This is the cats my Mother gave us. She became a bit more tame. Although she was never a lap sitter, she liked liking my toes whenever I was outside on the deck barefoot. She ...To th...

Cat Tales: May 2013
http://dlocat.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Sometime tonight I'll hear something at the screen door. I might be asleep or might be awake but regardless, I'll open the door and probably say something like, "hey buddy, how did the hunting go? The solution was put it off in the woods where no one would see it. At any rate I didn't care, I liked it over there. There were challenges; not least of all - mice! By the way, here is a picture of my house:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mittens and Patches' Story. One Percent (main blog).

Cat Tales: Leo's Story
http://dlocat.blogspot.com/p/leos-story.html
Before I tell Leo's story I want to talk about my Daddy-in-law for a bit. He was a big man, a logger and a hunter. He passed away last year. He enriched my life immeasurably and I miss him. Even though I had been divorced from his daughter for 20 years, he never stopped calling me his son-in-law. He was in many ways a wonderful man and he was a story teller. About that time Leo came out from under the deck. In comparison to the raccoons he was tiny! I ran inside and grabbed the first weapon I could find ...
