Whispers & Moans: September 2011
http://robstradling.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Rob Stradling's stream of semi-consciousness. Written on a QWERTY keyboard, in the English language. Monday, September 19, 2011. Who Lives In A Shoulder Like This? I finally underwent arthroscopy (keyhole surgery) at the weekend to perform "capsular release" which - despite sounding like an intriguing option from the menu of a seedy massage parlour - is actually to do with excising inflamed tissue to treat adhesive capsulitis. All of which seem to be becoming my regular mid-September thing.

Broad Thoughts from a Home: April 2013
http://ianpotter.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Broad Thoughts from a Home. Being an on-line repository for the occasional brain-splurges of Ian Potter. Thursday, 25 April 2013. Just a bit of fun. This is a message with no real content. I want to see how easy it is to spread! This is a testing time for the NHS. The service is being talked down, beaten down and cut down, in the face of widespread public alarm. If that's true, it's very troubling indeed and we'll need to find out why. So, as a tiny test, I'm putting up my own NHS message here to sha...

Broad Thoughts from a Home. Being an on-line repository for the occasional brain-splurges of Ian Potter. Thursday, 19 September 2013. Hello, how are you doing? I'm pleased. Particularly if you just contrarily ignored the accepted social form and told me you weren't doing well. I'm all the more pleased for not having heard it.Anyway that's the niceties out the way. It's time to return to the one sided business of me telling you what I'm up to. Nice ones on Sci-fi Bulletin. And Doc Oho Reviews. Licence is ...

Broad Thoughts from a Home. Being an on-line repository for the occasional brain-splurges of Ian Potter. Friday, 22 March 2013. Sit down, get yourself comfy! Reach for your credit card. It's been too long. Today is International "Did You Know There Is Stuff You Can Buy? Day, the anniversary of which is celebrated daily in most parts of the world. But wait, that's not all! There's also some free stuff (but nothing like as much). Free thing 1: No Tomatoes. It is an excellent bargain at that price. Is now o...

Skip's Acorn Treasury: My hardworking flat
http://euston.blogspot.com/2014/04/my-hardworking-flat.html
Penguin crime. Lego. Drinking with thin friends. Cat. Wednesday, April 09, 2014. When I was young, I wanted a time machine so I could save the universe. Now I want a time machine so I can nip back and buy property. He's talking about London's current property boom. Otherwise known as "you think this flat is worth HOW MUCH? I find the whole thing nuts. The idea that this property boom is somehow all because the Tories have decided to reward people who work hard is silly. A lot of the people who work d...

It scarcely seems possible. The blog of Nick Walters, Bristol-based author, poet, cyclist and oik. Posted by: Nick Walters. July 12, 2015. The Fall: Sub-Lingual Tablet. This is a review of the CD version; there is a vinyl version which features different mixes of some of the tracks, which I haven’t yet heard). I’ll say more, though, otherwise this would be a very short review. Sub-Lingual Tablet. Is the 30-somethingth album by The Fall and the fifth from the current line-up. The image and the stark lette...

It scarcely seems possible. The blog of Nick Walters, Bristol-based author, poet, cyclist and oik. Posted by: Nick Walters. August 12, 2014. Lana Del Rey: Ultraviolence. Oh Well, FUCK YOU! This will be my last album review on this blog. And it won’t even be a proper review. Sorry, Lana! Why am I stopping? So the whole process of reviewing music is beginning to get in the way, big time, of my actual enjoyment of the music. Now to: b). Time! Sorry again, Lana! You know I love you. Broad Thoughts from a Home: Newsy newsy news
http://ianpotter.blogspot.com/2014/07/newsy-newsy-news.html
Broad Thoughts from a Home. Being an on-line repository for the occasional brain-splurges of Ian Potter. Thursday, 3 July 2014. Hello, you've been very polite about not caring much about what I've been up to recently, so to reward you I'm going to tell you in tedious detail. There's no winning, is there? Audio coming later this year. You can pre-order it here. Iris is a fun character to write for, she's a bizarre force of nature who barges into other people's stories and tidies or messes them up as suits...
