It was one of the rare times all of them got together. There was another brother, Emile, but he died in a farm accident when he was just a boy. Photo courtesy of Tirrie Moreno. Friday, August 27, 2010. After divorcing Edness, Frank married Louise. She had two daughters from her previous marriage, and they lived with her and Frank in Earlimart.

A family history and photo scrapbook. Thursday, June 24, 2010. Playing with the pigs. Frank and his younger brother Emile. Are seen together playing and feeding the pigs in their neighbor's yard. They used to gather up the "slop" from the restaurants in town and bring it back during feeding time. They both learned early in their life how to take good care of animals with both food and lots of love. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Dry farming wheat and other grains was common in the San Joaquin Valley.

Frank Escalle is in the first row, fifth from left. Alfred, his older brother, is standing next to him on the left with the dark jacket on and no shoes. A family history and photo scrapbook. Friday, December 10, 2010. Cowboy and his horse. This is my husband, Bob, when he was a fighter pilot in the Air Force. Like a cowboy with his horse, Bob loved flying his F-86 Sabre on various adventures. This picture was taken either in Rabat or Cassablanca when he was flying with the 45th Fighter Squadron at Sidi Slimane Air Base in French Morocco. Below is a video that my son put together as a tribute to his father and to the squadron. Labels: 45th Fighter Squadron.
