gotgauge?: Owls in Progress
http://gauging.blogspot.com/2010/08/owls-in-progress.html
Tuesday, August 10, 2010. On to the sleeves (and tiny owls running along the center), then front and neck bands. I'm stuck at home today since the Volvo's getting its 100,000 mile check-up, so.bring on the sleeves. I go away for a week and look. Those owls are wonderful! I need to know where you got the chart for those - or did you make it up? August 10, 2010 at 12:25 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Beginning a run of baby hats. Dream in Color Cardigan. ECO is here, ECOis here. The Owls are coming.

gotgauge?: sans buttons

Thursday, August 5, 2010. Then, something that's NOT my unmindful fault, because I knew to use very cool water bringing this sweater to its blossom, the #$% red yarns bled a little bit. Nothing life-threatening, already invisible as I lay it out on the blocking board. So I think this mishap might be negligible. I've got some buttons in my stash which will do very well. So, once this sweater dries, I'll put them on and post a final picture. Now on to BLUE OWLS- very significant. August 10, 2010 at 10:12 AM.

Then, bringing the pieces all together, I'll knit either a raglan or a saddle shoulder, and probably use a very light color combination and an elaborate 44-row pattern called "Odin's Eagles.". Stay tuned. Oh my I'm having a nice weekend (and the dog's still at the doggie hotel). Links to this post. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. This is the third “ gansey. 8221; using Brown- Reinsel.

Dec 30, 2009.

Palmetto Pixie: March 2011
http://palmettopixie.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 6, 2011. Early spring is the time of year we get to marvel in the beauty of our camellias in the deep South. This is a beautiful flower. Stately with just a hint of pink. It was tagged incorrectly; it looks a lot like Moonlight Bay further down the page. Melissa Anne has a large white flower with ruffled petals. I have been anxious for these delicate rose-like blooms to open before we have more bad weather. Here it is today: Moonlight Bay! These are Betty Sheffied Supreme. A Way to Garden.

Saturday, February 20, 2010. Old News - Snow in the Lowcountry. Whose woods these are I think I know. His house is in the village though; He will not see me stopping here To watch his woods fill up with snow.". We rarely get to glimpse this white stuff here in the South Carolina Lowcountry. Last weekend Mother Nature treated us to a brief encounter with a little snow. A little farther inland near Grays, the accumulation is a little thicker. This is near the pond at Baybottom. This pattern uses slipped st...
