Thursday, July 30, 2015. 1st dose of Ritixumab. The process has OFFICIALLY started! Yesterday, I went to Mayo to have my first dose of Rituximab. We left the house at 5:00am (which was PAINFUL) but made it to Mayo at 7:00am for labs. See how happy we are to be awake? Benadryl is awesome. It makes me SO sleepy. Thursday, July 16, 2015. Tick tock goes the clock. I feel that I have experienced every single second that has passed since my great news 3 weeks ago. I'm still thrilled, but now I'm READY for the next step. I was finally able to get in contact with my donor coordinator this week (she was out on vacation) and she's had a chance to speak with the transplant nephrologist regarding my labs, and it doesn't sound like they were very good.
