http://garyhistart.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 23, 2012. Two more underpaintings done. Those these were a bit rushed they're finally done. Portrait numbers 3 and 4 close out the first installment of this series. I need to tweak the position of one of the eyes as it looks. A bit off to me. 65279;. I know each shoulder looks different, but that's how. It looked in the photo.really. Not sure what to say about this one. It's strange. How different something looks after you take a photo. 65279; . Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Saturday, May 23, 2015. Silly little projects like this help to get me out of a funk and back into more serious projects. What could be more silly than Yosemite Sam as a 5th New York zouave? I offered to do some figure studies for an author that was working on an article for the journal. Hopefully publication of the article will send other authors my way seeking to add a bit of color to their articles. The Smith Guard 1860-61. Coldwater Light artillery 1859.

One is historical subjects while the other one are non historical ( for the most part ) in nature. I recently completed this drawing of Edgar Allen Poe, along with a few quotes. A few color studies and more sketchbook pages are on the way. Well done pard. That Poe needs to be framed and sent to a certain Michigan address;). March 28, 2014 at 8:32:00 PM EST.
