Osteoporosis of the Soul: July 2008
http://osteoporosisofthesoul.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 27, 2008. Sometimes life feels like a bad 90's movie. But maybe I just want to listen to the Violent Femmes and have ridiculous pseudo-intelligent discussions about my life's angst. Every once in awhile I'll see something really weird walking down the street. And oddly, I'm usually the only one who reacts at all. Today it was a robot. But like a for real robot like the Flight of the Conchords video. So I don't think I'm delusional. Then, in my third trip to Laurie's this week alone. Monday, ...

Osteoporosis of the Soul: June 2009

Monday, June 29, 2009. Stolen Bikes Ride Faster. Subtitled: But You Get No Where with Your Bike Locked to Your Porch, True Story). Bike Incident '09 is OVER! I am not really good with bikes. I mean, I can usually navigate them from point A to point B and I generally get on with them well enough as long as I don't have to do anything mechanical. Maybe it's that I'm not really a mechanical person. But I think the bigger issue is bikes. So anyway, with no further options, I turned to Google. Thanks, PB Pene...

Osteoporosis of the Soul: September 2008
http://osteoporosisofthesoul.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 18, 2008. I hope your apple pie is freakin' worth it! This makes me very happy. Links to this post. Tuesday, September 16, 2008. So, there's this boy. Well, no. That's a misleading way to put it, really. But I don't want him to think I'm odd. I'm like, 82% sure he's a bike messenger. At least, he sort of looks like a bike messenger. Links to this post. Tomorrow, a New Point of View. However, usually I just get stuck in awe. I can't remember which airport it is. I think it's O'Hare....

Osteoporosis of the Soul: For Hair Tying Emergencies, Presumably
http://osteoporosisofthesoul.blogspot.com/2009/02/for-hair-tying-emergencies-presumably.html
Sunday, February 8, 2009. For Hair Tying Emergencies, Presumably. I know I sort of promised a British TV post part two but that will have to wait because I had a super awesome day on Saturday and I am going to blog about it now for your alleged enjoyment. 2 Walking around all day was fun. It was a balmy 50 in the city on Saturday, perfect for exploring new nooks and crannies which included an awesome toy store with Playmobils. So much fun. 3 In the evening I attended the sold out Los Campesinos! The betw...

Osteoporosis of the Soul: The Epic British TV Post Part 2 - Doctor Who
http://osteoporosisofthesoul.blogspot.com/2009/02/epic-british-tv-post-part-2-doctor-who.html
Thursday, February 26, 2009. The Epic British TV Post Part 2 - Doctor Who. I am perhaps not the best person to explain how awesome Doctor Who is (both the show and the character) as this is another of the shows my roommate campaigned heavily for me to watch before I finally capitulated. C'est la guerre. But briefly, Doctor Who:. David Tennant as Barty Crouch Jr.*. David Tennant is quite expressive and as the Doctor he's also quite hilarious even when the situation doesn't warrant mirth. See what I mean?

Osteoporosis of the Soul: Life Is Hard. Hooray Life.
http://osteoporosisofthesoul.blogspot.com/2009/04/life-is-hard-hooray-life.html
Thursday, April 2, 2009. Life Is Hard. Hooray Life. One of the cool things about my old apartment was that it allegedly abutted the residence of the Lawrence Arms. I never actually saw anyone from the band in the neighborhood but I figure we ran in different social circles so the internet probably wasn't lying to me. However, not even that bit of celebrity could convince me to stay in that place for another year. Anyway. I think it is. Libortion: the new term for abortion. What do fetuses want? In unrela...

Osteoporosis of the Soul: October 2008
http://osteoporosisofthesoul.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 28, 2008. I have a cold and new earrings. I'm only excited about one of those things. I feel like little J from Gossip Girl circa mid-summer when she was just a lowly little intern. "Anything to make it," that's my new motto. "No job too small.". Speaking of which, I heart Gossip Girl. Have I mentioned that? Oh, and they've added a new character: Aaron Rose. Tres hipster fabulous, no? Sometimes he wears huge Elvis Costello glasses and it's even more awesome. Mondays are the best. And not...

Osteoporosis of the Soul: August 2008
http://osteoporosisofthesoul.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 23, 2008. The Geeks WERE Right. Oh the Faint. You are possibly the only band that can make me dance with almost no inhibitions. It's doubtful that anyone will believe that but it's true. I do not understand your choice of openers nor Todd in general but I had so much fun. Even the new songs were awesome and well received. End digression. So the show was easily the best I've seen them do and I've seen them four or five times now. Stage banter was kept to a minimum to enable maximu...IDK) ...
