WINTER ON THE VINEYARD. A frosty winter morning at French Farm, and if you look closely you can see that we have just started pruning the lower block Pinot Noir. We are lucky because, being close to the sea, frosts are relatively rare here, especially in early spring -. 8203;an important time for the vines. Autumn.and the wonderful weather continues. Autumn is such a beautiful time of the year - the leaves are turning golden, the nights are drawing in and it's time for us. Whatever, its been hard work!
