Javier was delivered to his forever home yesterday. The little guy lived with us in our van for just over 2 months, travelling 7,000 kms from the point that we picked him up from the side of the road in Baja Sur to the point that we dropped him off with his family on the Columbia River. We’d like to say that rescuing him was a selfless act but that would be a lie as we enjoyed every moment of having Javi around. Seriously though…Aren’t they just the cutest? Brian and I rented a house in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica for the month of December, so we have to pick up the pace a little.
