Sunday, July 21, 2013. Sunset at HHF. Hoping for some rain and a break in the temps. I hate Summer and the pacas hate it even more! Saturday, July 13, 2013. My stepdaughter is also doing well, she graduated from Randolph-Macon and is currently on her way to Montana to begin her new job there. Yep, I plan to visit! After Buck passed, I had to get my old man Spunky a new friend. What better than a mini donk? Dinky is sooooo cute! Sunday, July 7, 2013. Trying to get back into the swing of things. I live on ...

Hummingbird Hill: August 2011
http://charlescitycat.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 29, 2011. We survived Hurricane Irene with minor damage. We are far enough west to have the Tropical Storm force winds and rains instead of the full Cat 1 storm. It was a bumpy ride though. We lost power mid-afternoon on Saturday and are still out. Thank goodness we have a pretty big generator It is out there just humming away! I got a couple of pics of the storm, but the worst of it came later and the pics didn't turn out at all, too dark. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Hummingbird Hill: August 2013
http://charlescitycat.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 4, 2013. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I live on a 30 acre hobby farm with 4 horses, 3 dogs and 2 cats. We call the farm Hummingbird Hill because in the summer, we are inundated with the little buggers. I work full-time in an OB/GYN office which drives me crazy. Would love to work part-time so I could enjoy my horses more, but hey, gotta pay for their chubby butts. View my complete profile. Http:/ www.hummingbirdhillalpacas.com. http://charlescitycat.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 28, 2011. BUBBLES'S CRIA HAS ARRIVED! Isn't she just as cute as she can be? She is definitely Artemus' girl with all that white on her front legs and chest. Delivery was great and Bubbles' is just the greatest mom, she is all over her baby. They will stay inside tonight but will be out with the herd in the AM. Thankfully, we didn't have the storms/tornados (sp) that were a possibility today. Expecting great weather for the next few days, so Bubbles' timed it perfectly. MEET OUR NEW CRIA!

Hummingbird Hill: October 2011
http://charlescitycat.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 16, 2011. Some updated pictures of my girls. Darby is doing well. We are supplementing her with some extra milk because it doesn't seem that Drizella is producing quite enough. Just a few extra ounces three times a day. She readily drinks it then goes right over to mom and nurses a bit more. Our next show will be the first weekend of December and we will be taking Shenanigan, Rowena, Fiona, Guiness and either Tipperary or Dakota. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
