A Guy, a Girl, and a Dinner Plate. Thursday, March 31, 2011. Project: Food Budget: Week 4. Fage Yogurt (a splurge for us! Diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Frank's Hot Sauce (a necessity). Eggs from the farm! A pizza from Domino's. 2 delicious meals from Raising Cane's. We were out of several staples and had a little money from last week, so we didn't worry too much about sticking strictly to the budget this week. We had a few splurges (like farm eggs and Fage yogurt). Pork loin, sauerkraut, and turnips.

A couple frozen meals. Chipotle burrito (split between us for our special "eat out" day). Another week when moms and friends fed us pretty often. Yay! Thursday, February 17, 2011. Project Food Budget - Week 6: How I Managed To Screw Up a Bread Recipe.or Did I? Anyhoo, from time to time, I tend to skip an ingredient or two when following a recipe. I tend to jump ahead to the end for some reason. I attempted to make a simple, no-knead bread recipe that was from the back of the flour bag. It didn't help that I totally skipped adding the nonfat dry milk (which cost me $8.99 a box at G.E. Market District. Hubby and toddler liked it too! 1/4 cup orange juice.
