Velo Hangar is moving out of The Alternabike location at 637 Valley Avenue in Solana Beach and going back grassroots style to the original location. I’m so happy, this took awhile to design and get just right. Thanks to Zach at Squadra for helping me sort it out. I have added a wind jacket, featuring black mesh segments on the back and reflective piping. I also have added knee warmers to the store. It began and finished in the velodrome, looped around the infield and wound it's way on some trails and into a wooded grove that was loose and deep. It wound through some grass, had a double barrier and then a steepish incline before it reentered the velodrome with one final single barrier before the finish. Check traffic before you head down. Monday, February 11, 2013. 2012 came and went. 2013 has crept in with a lot of changes. I spent the new year in Costa Rica for a week away from the bike and with good friends, food and some fun surf. It's starting to feel like a home away from the paradise I already live in. First sunset of 2013. Pura Vida! Here is a collection of cool gear and cycling tech. My first "custom sponsored" race bike I got while racing for NAU. Independent Fabrication Crown Jewel. Full Dura Ace with Cane Creek Aero wheels. Pedals I've had for years before. Circa 1998. IF Deluxe Mountain bike as well with full Shimano XTR. So sad to see them both go when I "retired". My bike today. BMC Team Machine with full Sram red. All gone and onto the next one. It's a full 7 pounds lighter than my last road bike the IF! Stay in the loop.

Friday, July 18, 2014. After focusing on 70.3 and Ironman racing for the last 6 years, I went into this race thinking it would be a walk in the park, but I was quickly proven wrong! I realized about 200m into the swim that a 1500m all out swim is a whole other world of hurt compared to a 4km Ironman swim. And a 40km bike timetrial followed by a fast 10km run? Fredag 6. mars 2015. Før den tid har jeg en større utfordring i å sykle Jotunheimen Rundt, 430 km, tre fjell å tråkke seg over. Kan ikke annet si enn at jeg "grugleder" meg.
