Saturday, 31 January 2009. Nothing exciting to tell you because I spent the day in bed yesterday, virus, hot, cold, hot. It was a beautiful day and I slept through it. Saturday, 28 February 2009. Many of you will have read the book about Miss Garnet, I loved it and it was the inspiration for me to spend a period of time in Venice,. Saturday, 28 March 2009. I have had a lovely week and am now on the countdown to return home. Ay I had a lovely saunter around Murano before going to the Circolo meeting. One thing I have missed are daffodils and where I had a coffee there was a few in the garden area, I had to take a photograph! Tuesday I had three friends for dinner, Zoe an English lady doing research for her PHD, Marilyn the vicar’s. I did tell him about my obsession with them; he didn’t think they were orange, more rust.
