lil Blue Bus: April 2011
http://lilbluebus.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 14, 2011. Found this picture off a friend's facebook page. As the truck driver, I imagine he had many an onlooker when this one got loaded up on the back of his trailer. I can only wonder what the vision of the new owner is for this old pop top, but regardless, it is wonderful to know another van has been saved from it's likely fate of rust and decay. lil Blue Bus: March 2011
http://lilbluebus.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 29, 2011. You would cry too. I've been doing a lot of whining and crying to my friends over the pond about the crappy weather and how we have been waiting for so long for winter to end. But I thought it best that I actually show everyone what I am bitching about. It is nearly APRIL. and I have to tell you this is NOT normal weather. Usually the snow is nearly gone by the end of March (or at least a ton has melted). But this year, the melting hasn't even started yet! You would cry too.

Friday, December 30, 2011. Sorry I have been away. But I learned to Applique! Monday, May 30, 2011. The Hippy Van of Hope. On May 16th 2011, savage forest fires tore through the Town of Slave Lake unexpectedly and with little warning. The fire devastated a community, leaving 374 properties destroyed, including the public library, municipal buildings, businesses and residences. Archives: A jumping-off point. Few locations in Central Alberta are photographed as frequently as the East Coulee bridge. It serviced trains and vehicles crossing the Red Deer River and provided access and service to two mines. Both mines were left to rot when the coal-mining industry dried up but the Atlas has been turned into an historical site. The bridge is made with impressive, strong wooden beams, although they’re rotting away and I fear the bridge’s days are numbered. Read more →. April 16, 2015.

lil Blue Bus: Sturgess North Day Three. Where was I??
http://lilbluebus.blogspot.com/2011/08/sturgess-north-day-three-where-was-i.html
Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Sturgess North Day Three. Where was I? Last we left off, we were stranded in Blue River. Highway closed due to a tanker truck roll over and we lost Darryl and the girls. The van is running tip top, thanks to a new fuel filter. Always loving the quick fix on the road. I find my anxiety level is off the charts when Lil Blue gets cranky. Leaving Blue River. Starting to see more of these as we go further south. We are close to Salmon Arm now and you can tell there is a biker rally...
