My memories of Gina Bachauer",. The first time I met Gina Bachauer in person was in London at her beautiful apartment in Regent’s Park, where she had invited me to play for her. I was at that time studying in Paris with Yvonne Lefèbure and I was planning to continue my studies at the Juilliard School in New York. She was very enthusiastic about my playing and she immediately wanted to introduce me to Ilona Kabos, a famous London-based piano teacher, who had been Gina’s friend and music advisor.
