ということで月曜日、日本を出発してアムステルダム経由で姉家族が住むデュッセルドルフに到着。青空の下に蝉の声が響く真夏の日本とはうって変わり、時々雨がぱらつく曇り空でだいぶ肌寒い感じ。火曜日にぶらぶらとデュッセルドルフの旧市街地を歩いたけど、ライン川の畔まで出ると風も強くてちょっと寒いくらい。半ズボンしか持ってこなかったことを思い出して、近くのお店で長ズボンを購入。水曜日は、隣町のHildenに里帰りしているフロリダのアンティア一家との再会を果たし、デイビッドに誘われてデュッセルドルフの街中をゴーカートで疾走する「 Hot Rod City Tour. 12301;なるイベントに参加したり。木曜日はこれまた隣町のケルンを訪れて、大聖堂 Kölner Dom の塔のてっぺんまで階段を上って足ががくがくになったり。今日は一日中近所の公園で子供達と遊んだり。まぁ毎日ぶらぶらと休暇を楽しんでいる。やっぱりたまにはこういうの、必要やよね。明日からは電車に乗ってオーストリアへ向かう予定。 Mishima, Shizuoka, Japan. ということで、今年度最後の申請書をサブミットした。やりきれるんだろうかと不安になるくらいスケジュールが入っていた３月がようやく終わる。まぁかなりしんどかったけど、沢山の人と会って話せたこの一ヶ月は本当に楽しかった。で、カレンダーを見てみたら、意外なことに４月と５月はまだなんの予定も入っていない。新年度の明日からは、ちょっと落ち着いて実験と論文執筆に取り組もう。 帰国して５日目。今月４回目の時差調整なので相当きついかと思ったら、意外とそんなでもないかも。やっぱりしっかり眠るのが時差ぼけには一番良いんかな。早朝にぱっちり目覚める感覚は意外と気持ちいいし。 さて、そんなこんなで今月も今日で終わり。ということは２０１４年度が今日で終わりということか。この一年、研究のペースは結構スローだったけどかなりたくさんの申請書を書いたような気がする。で、今年度最後の申請書の締め切りが今日ということで、帰国してからのこの数日間それに取り掛かっていた。昨晩で一応書き上げたんだけども、あとは KT博士の修...今週から、今日と明日は一年前までずっと暮らしていた Biology Department. のパーティ。親...
