MMORPG - samhällsproblem eller framtidsliv? MMORPG samhällsproblem eller framtidsliv? Det skisserade projektet syftar till att utifrån en empirisk ingång ge en vid beskrivning och analys av WoW som social företeelse och aktivitet. Fyra specifika aspekter kommer att belysas särskilt: WoW som konkurrerande verklighet; WoW som samhällsproblem; organisatoriska aspekter av WoW; samt WoW i ett genusperspektiv. Proposes to build on previous research by exploiting its recently developed virtual world reconstructing the entire villa for an intensive search of possible celestial alignments incorporated in the plan of this large, but limited, area. Aims to transform the ephemeral experience of ancient spectacle into a digital object fit for experiential analysis. The project re-assesses current views on the stagecraft of Roman gladiatorial games, dramatic performances and oratorical displays.
