Visions of a Creek. 8216;Minor’ modifications to Neighbourhood Plan. The modifications to the Neighbourhood Plan which have been proposed in order to satisfy the concerns of English Heritage can be seen here. With 12 pages of closely-typed amendments to 33 pages of the original plan, describing these as minor modifications does seem to be stretching the language a bit. It should be noted that this does not necessarily mean that the plan would meet the basic conditions in any other respect. April 1, 2015.

Visions of a Creek. Life moves on. Things develop. Development can be a positive thing. It all depends what you mean. In the Faversham Creek Neighbourhood Plan, development means building, and building mostly means residential. Over the past five years, Swale Borough Council (the local planning authority) has spent 178,000 on plans and consultancy reports in pursuit of its stated policy to enable development on former industrial/commercial sites along the creekside. Mixed messages about mixed development.

Visions of a Creek. Swale Borough Council has said that Timothy Jones. A barrister, has been appointed as the Independent Examiner for the Faversham Creek Neighbourhood Plan. He previously examined the Cringleford neighbourhood plan. No public announcement of this appointment has yet been seen, nor is there any sign of the publication of responses to the consultation feedback, which it was said would be made public when the examiner was appointed. Visions Of A Daydreamer. Weekly Photo Challenge: Resilient. This week’s challenge is about finding something that endures. I chose two photos of the “Mother’s Oak” in Hechingen. The huge tree is about 1,300 years old. The trunk has now broken into pieces. However, as a forester told me, the tree is not really dead yet, because the wood is still a living space for small animals. More contributions to this challenge can be found here.
