About just a weekend before I popped, 3e, 4e and Uncle Mike were nice enough to ask for a catch-up and since I was supposed to suggest something new, I suggested Swich Cafe. For their unique cake selection that I've heard of. Anyway, since we haven't had our lunch, we gave their new hot food menu a try. They sound pretty interesting I must say. Being lazy and also so ngam we ran out of gas at home, I made my version of Tau Eu Bak (mostly based on KY's recipe. With a slow cooker. KY's recipe calls for Shiitake Mushrooms but I replace them with Fu Chok cos I love Fu Chok in Tau Eu Bak! Friday, June 13, 2014. Nutella Cheesecake Bars FTW. I think every time I bake I feel like Christine Ha, the blind Masterchef champion on the episode where they were asked to make a classic American pie. Truth is, I don't have a sweet tooth anyway. I rarely eat desserts (ice-cream excluded) and I simply can't take cakes that are flour based. There are however some exceptions that I love to eat and am willing to learn how to make it myself, e.g. the Portuguese Egg Tart. Recipe was originally taken from here.
