Sunday, July 5, 2015. Vivienne had hip surgery on June 8th. Her hips, ecpecially the left side were getting worse and she didn't want to put her legs on the floor at all anymore because of the discomfort and increasing pain. The 1st week was the toughest, still pain in week 2, but week 3 was already so much better. Her scars are healing beautifully. Let's hope she will regain abilities and will go back to standing. She definitelly seems strong, especially her upper body looks great. Cure SMA Walk 'n Roll.

Tuesday, November 25, 2014. 55 weeks post ISIS drug injection. And the winner is:. After almost 4 years, Vivienne started crawling last night. She has lost the ability in February of 2011! This is mindblowing and definitely a HUGE step in the trials! Before the trials Vivienne would not even be able to lift up her head of the ground when lying on her belly. Look at her now. She got off the couch by herself, moved herself to the floor, pushed herself up on arms and legs, plus head! View my complete profile.

Friday, March 6, 2015. I appologize for the break. A lot of things are going on. Vivinne is doing very good. Her upper body strength is fabulous, her legs seem strong, but she doesn't want to stand and has increasingly discomfort in her tighs. This is very likely related to her hips she needs surgery on. By the time she received the 12mg dose at the end of April, she didn't want to stand supported anymore, her overall trunk and arm strength was decreasing.
