A Global Pool Of News On Shorebird Conservation. Five hundred Wrybill with a single catch. June 24, 2014. Posted by Miranda Shorebird Centre. Wrybill is a very naive bird. It evolved in New Zealand when there were no introduced mammalian predators and consequently it has no appropriate behaviour to respond to the threats of predation. It is not the least bit shy when it comes to human beings either. When it comes to cannon netting this is a good feature! Controlled water flows resulting from hydro scheme...

http://pajaroenmanoalbufera.blogspot.com/2015/07/un-paseo-por-noruega.html
