Monday, August 10, 2015. Neil and Andrew have been taking tennis lessons every day this summer. Today Neil played in his first official end-of-the-season tournament and he won the gold medal! Neil was excited to get a participant ribbon. We're so proud of Neil for winning his tennis tournament today. Here is a video of the medal ceremony. Thursday, January 1, 2015. Santa found us and left lots of wonderful presents for Neil and Andrew. Lots of Lego Chima, Star Wars, and Playmobil toys! Neil's stocking (with a new little penguin peeking out of the top). Santa left a lovely book about his visits to New Brunswick (including his visit to the Mayor's tree lighting event and other Saint John highlights). The calm before the storm. So much to take in. Unfortunately I did not get this on video but I wish I had. Neil and Andrew in their Santa hats.

Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Every year in early June the Port of Saint John hosts a community day with lots of fun rides and activities for kids. It is a really fun event and the kids love it. Andrew was excited to go on a little CN train (and we got free CN t-shirts for the kids). Neil scored the best seat on the train. So excited to be on the pink bus! Thursday, July 16, 2015. Our annual birthday lunch in St. Andrews to celebrate Nana and Papa's birthdays, which are only three days apart. A lovely photo of Nana and Papa. An interesting silhouette photo of Neil checking out a giant tree. This photo makes me laugh because it looks like they are all singing. A family photo under the tree. Love this one. The lighting in St. Andrews is always fantastic for photos. Nana with her boys. Nana thought it would be funny to encircle the tree. We tried it too.

Monday, August 10, 2015. We visited the Brittains yesterday. Jimmy Brittain is Nana's first cousin. Jim, his wife Heather, and their daughters Haley and Allie are excellent hosts. We had a delicious lunch and a lot of fun. Neil and Andrew enjoyed their trampoline along with a sprinkler and a wonderful slip and slide! Nana with Jimmy Brittain and Jennifer. Neil and Andrew hopped right into the Brittains' family photo. They had such a great time. The homemade slip and slide was a huge hit!

Sunday, August 31, 2014. As always, we spent the third week of August at "our" cottage in PEI. We didn't have the best weather this year, it was quite cold and windy with a few rainy days, but we had a nice relaxing vacation nonetheless.
