Making Music For My Maker: What I've learned from my Uncle Brian
http://makingmusicformymaker.blogspot.com/2011/09/what-ive-learned-from-my-uncle-brian.html
Making Music For My Maker. Monday, September 5, 2011. What I've learned from my Uncle Brian. I know, I know. Normally you write something like "What I've learned from my mom", or "What I've learned from my dad" but I think this one may have the potential to someday save my life. I learned from my Uncle Brian that a weed-wacker on skin hurts. I learned from my Uncle Brian that hot grease can melt skin. I learned from my Uncle Brian that a rusty nail in your knee may or may not cause an infection. I learne...

Making Music For My Maker. Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Grand Canyon Trip - Part 10. So today we drove a lot more! We started the day in Salina, Kansas and we're now staying the night just a little east of Saint Louis, Missouri. When we passed through Saint Louis we, of course, got to see the arch. I mean how could you not see that? Then we went to eat at The Old Spaghetti Factory. So we'll stay here the night then drive the rest of the way home tomorrow! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). So this is love.

Making Music For My Maker: July 2011
http://makingmusicformymaker.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Making Music For My Maker. Saturday, July 16, 2011. It's a funny thing. Within it you have times of extreme happiness and times of extreme sadness. Sometimes you wish for it to just be over, and other times you're thankful for every minute of it. Today I went to a memorial-type service for a little guy whose initials spell J.O.Y. He was stillborn. It also makes you just a little jealous of the little guy because, as his older brother put it, "He gets to skip out on this life.". Or "Why do I do what I do?

Making Music For My Maker: February 2013
http://makingmusicformymaker.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Making Music For My Maker. Friday, February 15, 2013. I think that's something that we all need reminded of pretty often. God's got this. Lately I've been thinking so much about my future and what I'm going to do and where I'm going to end up and who I'll marry and what God is going to do with my life that I forget that He has a plan and he won't let it fail. I truly believe that what God has in store for me will be a perfect balance of what I want and what I need. I won't be disappointed! So this is love.

http://makingmusicformymaker.blogspot.com/2010/09/grand-canyon-trip-part-9.html
Making Music For My Maker. Monday, September 6, 2010. Grand Canyon Trip - Part 9. So today wasn't very exciting. We woke up and ate breakfast then packed up. We decided to go ahead and drive some. We drove a lot and now we're in Salina, Kansas. We haven't had any problems with our car so we'll probably keep driving tomorrow too. =). You don't really realize how flat and long and boring Kansas is until you drive through it. But I'm glad we're getting closer to home! September 7, 2010 at 11:27 AM.
