This 'n That: Christmas 2014

http://susankay49.blogspot.com/2015/01/christmas-2014.html

Thursday, January 8, 2015. Here's a look at my Christmas 2014. So much preparation! And it never fails - my Christmas pictures never turn out. Or at least I am always disappointed in them. I guess even pictures can't convey all the excitement that goes along with Christmas. I decided to use my Charlie Brown Christmas tree this year. Every year I make my granddaughter something. This year it was a Hello Kitty nightgown. She liked it. She even put it on before the evening was over. It was very cold! Cook c...

Great food, company, and HATS! We must have taken a zillion pictures. The following are a choice selection of mine. The food was delicious! The table set so beautifully! It was a beautiful day and we had fun taking pictures. This is me and my beautiful niece, Sarah. Her hat was outrageous and suited her perfectly! New Dress A Day.

Tuesday, July 28, 2015. How Did That Happen? These pics are from APRIL! I just came across them and wanted to share. It was my oldest grandson's 18th birthday and we had a family get-together. We were all coming out of hibernation from the long winter and everyone was playing in the backyard. Even the big kids! Uncle Nate is on the trampoline! Bandit wants on the trampoline, too! Oh, what joy to chase a ball across the grass! Having a moment with Gracie the kitty. Happy birthday to you …! I've done a lot...

http://susankay49.blogspot.com/2015/02/the-cake-bake.html

Thursday, February 19, 2015. Well, I want to update everyone on my snowbird trip to Florida, but that's going to be kind of lengthy. First I want to tell you about a wonderful trip to Broad Ripple to the Cake Bake. You just have to go! It is at 6515 N. Carrollton Av. in Indy. They have wonderful cakes and desserts, coffee, soup - things like that. The decor is like a French pastry shop. I took my mom on a cold February day. We had a delightful time! This is the entrance to The Cake Bake restaurant.

Where Have The Bondes Gone? | Tales of Wandering Bondes

Where Have The Bondes Gone? July 20, 2012 · Filed under Week 5. Saturday morning we woke up and called to see if we could look at an apartment in downtown Olympia. By noon we had put down a deposit; it really happened that fast, we were amazed. The only “setback” was that we couldn’t move in for two more weeks (until August 1st). Our campsite on the coast. And so we moved in Wednesday and now have lived in Olympia, Washington for two days! If You Were Counting…. Our trip lasted 34 days (June 15 – J...

Boomer's Blog | Attempting to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail on an impulse…

Attempting to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail on an impulse…. Just Another Statistic…. April 20, 2015. I want to apologize to everyone who was following along. My hike is officially over. I made it to Clingman’s Dome and the weather was awful. I decided to come home for a few days to wait out the weather (and watch The Masters). However, she did tell me that the stress was growing and my daughter was getting increasingly upset with my absence. I still plan to hike the trail. However, it looks as thou...
