A grab bag of resources for travellers (plus a few random links). Hostelling International is a world-wide Youth Hostel network. These guys are my recommended option for hostels, particularly in the US and Canada. A suggestion: become a member to get cheaper room rates. For Canadians, an Adult membership is about CAD$35, plus taxes, as of mid-2011. An online booking platform for various hostels around the world. I used this website a number of times during my European trips of 2004 and 2005. As I See It.

https://wanderingpixie.wordpress.com/2011/03/02/christchurch
A pixie's observations about travel, photography, web design, BDSM and life. Over the last week or so, I’ve been following the news about the earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand. In 2004 and 2005, I travelled to New Zealand twice, including visits to Christchurch. I’ve walked through it’s streets. Years later and an ocean away, seeing the state of the city after the quakethere are no words. Donations can be made online via the New Zealand Red Cross website. Christchurch – April 2004. A pixie's observations about travel, photography, web design, BDSM and life. College is still the main focus of my life at the moment. We’re now well into Semester Two. So far, mostly good. We’ve just started the production of our major class project, Pacific Rim Magazine. The next two months are going to be busy beyond belief! Here’s a panoramic view from my apartment of the snow-covered West End:. The aftermath of an overnight snow storm - West End (Vancouver), February 2011. Spring, wherefore art thou?

Sunday, October 20, 2013. Wishes do come true. It's a Foggy Friday morning. It's a short trip to our destination but the thick fog slows down traffic on the highway. At one point, visibility went down to 5 meters that we were forced to stop by a petrol station. It's still too early so we decided to wait out for the fog to lift and had breakfast at one of the food stores there. Early morning fog at Irkkya Farm. Then another lifer. A very short glimpse of a Eurasian Golden Oriole. And the Namaqua Dove.

My Photographs ▶. My Photographs ▶. The harsh reality of the world can overwhelm at times. The struggles faced daily by myself and the souls I mingle with all pass before my eyes and are seen with unfiltered vision. I selfishly take these pictures for me, but I happily share them with you in the hopes that they offer a moment of reflection. Although I tell a tale with the pictures I take, the story you see in each one is yours to do with as you please. Chattanooga, TN 37421. 169; Bradford A Chase.

WanderingPixie.com: An incipient online travel photography gallery, articles and a blog by Kristy Williams (aka Wandering Pixie). During my travels over the last few years, my camera has been my constant companion. The camera captures what I’ve seen, whether it’s a highway in remotest Nevada, a band playing a gig in Toronto, or views of the Australian coastline. My travel photography ranges from snapshots to panoramas, with an emphasis on landscapes, scenery and nature. Galleries and articles to come soon.

Wandering Pizzaioli LLC
We at Wandering Pizzaioli cater reunions, weddings, parties of any kind, etc. and travel to various festivals around the Northwest. Along with pizza, we make incredible salads if our clients so desire. At our latest event, we offered a pesto/prosciutto/parmesan cheese pizza (we called it the triple P) and a halibut in white sauce pizza. For dessert, we had a granny apple/lemon custard pizza demonstrating our willingness to try anything with pizza. Wow, did folks love them!
