Sparkles of Life: Taiwan
http://whimsicalrhapsodies.blogspot.com/2010/05/taiwan.html
Monday, May 10, 2010. Home sweet home and everything that happened just felt so surreal. Good holidays always just passed too quickly. so here's Taiwan the last chapter of this exchange cum holiday. Did nothing much except eating all day long. Queuing up for the famous soybean milk and yu tiao. One of the many lu rou fan we had. Not to forget the famous xiao long baos from Ding Tai Fung. And the Shi Lin Night market which was a disappointment and thus no photos. And also the famous toilet theme restaurant.

Sparkles of Life: April 2007
http://whimsicalrhapsodies.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 29, 2007. The 2nd session of our favourite GCC programme took place at Labrador park this evening. And GCC#2 saw little miss beancurd doing her 1st run after suffering from the effects of inertia for months. Snippets from golden hour. Wei shan: darling, look at the sea, it's as vast as my love for u. Me: honey, u hear the constant splashing of the waves? It's just like my love for u. it's always present and constant. Me: my love will never end, just as the sea never dries up. I would have a...

Wanderlust Cycling: Long time no commute
http://wanderlustcycling.blogspot.com/2010/06/long-time-no-commute.html
Thoughts of a newbie cyclist. Sunday, June 20, 2010. Long time no commute. I havent been commuting for a really long time. I believe it has been 5 weeks. However, by not cycle commuting, I've actually been able to enjoy the food at my favourite nasi padang stall in the army market after coaching/paddling at Kallang. I also dont have to worry about where I lock my bicycle. Its more sociable this way too since I get to go makan with friends. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). An Adventure Called Bicycling.

Wanderlust Cycling: Detour
http://wanderlustcycling.blogspot.com/2010/07/detour.html
Thoughts of a newbie cyclist. Saturday, July 10, 2010. Found an alternative route that avoids the ridiculous Bendemeer junction on my commute to Kallang. From Upper Serangoon Rd, turn into Wan Tho Ave and use these small roads to reach Macpherson Rd where the Royal Sporting House building is. From here, I will still need to go through the construction detour, however, I need not filter lanes and can stay on the left side. Just need to watch out for the PIE exit when approaching Bendemeer Rd. 2) review yo...

Wanderlust Cycling: A little too much
http://wanderlustcycling.blogspot.com/2010/04/little-too-much_13.html
Thoughts of a newbie cyclist. Tuesday, April 13, 2010. A little too much. Spotted this interesting post on togoparts made by Humongous. He has 3 bike profiles on Togoparts, which I think means he is a paying member. Its about how he was followed by another cyclist thinking he was a bike thief. The cyclist took it upon himself to interrogate Humongous which included asking why he was not in "proper attire" and why he was not using clipless pedals. After which i returned and stop by outside Bedok NPC and a...

Wanderlust Riding: Riding to Malacca on a whim
http://wanderlustriding.blogspot.com/2015/08/riding-to-malacca-on-whim.html
Saturday, August 15, 2015. Riding to Malacca on a whim. 7 years ago I bought a road bicycle on a whim and cycled to Malacca and back over 4 days. That trip sparked off a love for being on 2 wheels and I finally made it up to Malacca again, albeit on a motorcycle this time. We decided to take the trunk roads up for a more scenic route. It ended up just being palm trees and kampungs all the way. The only nice bit was riding on the bridge from Muar to Malacca, that was quite a sight. Honda: Live Unlike The ...

Wanderlust Cycling: Its a scary world out there
http://wanderlustcycling.blogspot.com/2010/05/its-scary-world-out-there.html
Thoughts of a newbie cyclist. Thursday, May 6, 2010. Its a scary world out there. I've witnessed my 5th accident involving a two-wheeler in 2 months. One must remember, to actually see the scene of the accident, I've got to be at the right place at the right time. I must be pretty damned lucky, or jinxed. Depending on how you look at it. Of the 5, 4 of them invovled bicycles and one invovled a motorcycle. The first incident was the one where Ben Mok was struck near Ngee Ann Poly. Bike Commuting in SG.
