Girl Scout Patch Ceremony! With the patches she's earned). On Sunday night, I surprised Ches with a date. I had a babysitter come and we went to see Chicago. They did such a wonderful job-all nine of them were amazing musicians-from drums and keyboards to trombones, flutes, and a cowbell! They were sweating by intermission.

Walk to Cure 2015. Mary Claire's Diagnosis Story. Sunday, March 29, 2015. Zion, Grand Canyon, Phoenix, and Cubs, Oh My! After all the amazingness at Upper Antelope Canyon, we went up into Zion National Park, and stayed in Springdale, Utah, inside the park. It was a beautiful little mountain town. We had an awesome new hotel, and even Carter had his own “bedroom” ( there was a huge walk-in closet big enough for his crib and some play space! Polished slices of geodes, and Clay even got a Mosasaur tooth!

Sunday, April 12, 2009. I just ran my first 5k! I was lucky enough to run with three amazing ladies and they were all very supportive. All three are marathon runners so there is zero comparison to my wanna-be-runner self. My good friend Christine ran along side me the whole time.
