I Love My Purls: May 2012
http://ilovepurls.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 21, 2012. We packed up our two babies and headed to St. Louis, probably for the last time. We kept the kids while Amy and Paul looked for a place to live in Northern Virginia. Yeah! I am so happy. My kids and grandkids will only be 2 hours away versus 12! I worked on this during the long drive - a spiderman afghan for Alex for his new room at his new home.he is taking the news pretty well. Meighan is having a little bit harder time - she doesn't want to leave her friends.of course. Meg and I ...

I Love My Purls: July 2011
http://ilovepurls.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 25, 2011. We went to Pocohantas Park two times when the twins were here. They love it. This was the first year Alex went down the water slides. He had so much fun and was so proud of himself. He must have gone 50 times - I lost count. Annabelle in her new dress. Meg and I had fun painting our nails with some new crazy colors. We made this Sand Cake for our company. The kids having fun in the pool with Alissa (my pet groomer's daughter). Friday, July 15, 2011. He also dresses up the dogs.

Hola Olivia cur...

There's always music in the air. A place to keep some order on my knitting endeavors and other crafty aspirations. Jul 24, 2007. The Interweave Fall preview is up. I really like all of the warm, cozy projects. I think it looks better than the last few issues. Eunny's cardigan is gorgeous and why in the world is everything Norah Gaughan creates so damn cool looking? In other news, you may know I have a penchant for entrelac, so I was delighted to combine it with my love of dishcloths in the garterlac cloth.

There's always music in the air. A place to keep some order on my knitting endeavors and other crafty aspirations. Jun 4, 2008. I haven't blogged too much this year, but I haven't really knit that much either. My lovely husband gave me a set of sock needles from Knit Picks for Christmas and I immediately started a pair of socks for him with yarn that he picked out on our honeymoon. This week I finished the first sock. His feet are large, my hands and needles are tiny, so that explains that. Comments: Goo...

There's always music in the air. A place to keep some order on my knitting endeavors and other crafty aspirations. Feb 26, 2008. New Year, More Projects. I've got to be better at this blogging thing, but Ravelry. Is so much fun and it just keeps getting better! I wasn't going to knit anything for Christmas presents, because I'm not sure if the recipients will really use them or are to their taste, but I can't stop myself. These were fun and easy though. There's always music in the air. A place to keep some order on my knitting endeavors and other crafty aspirations. Jun 27, 2007. So here's my finished hand towel. I wanted to try out KnitPicks' new Cotlin yarn and this was the perfect pattern to use. It took me awhile because I stopped to finish the blanket and had forays into mitered squares. There's always music in the air. A place to keep some order on my knitting endeavors and other crafty aspirations. Jun 4, 2008. I wanted to make my new hubby something special for Christmas to thank him for all of the lovely yarn we purchased on our honeymoon (and for hours driving around a strange city in search of yet another yarn shop without a complaint). So I picked a special yarn that I chose simply because it was local to Oregon. Ta-da! We have his and hers fingerless mitts! Log Cabin Pillow Front.
