It's a very large greenspace (I may have read the largest within a city limits in the US? To the right of the guy click on pic and you can really see it bigger! Then, we picked a windy trail and headed up for some nice views of the city (yes, they're a bit smoggy, i'll admit :) Anyway, it was very relaxing and fun. Above are some more park view pics! Broiled salm...

Working Motherhood and other redundancies. Thoughts and musings from the crazy world of Eli and Lena's mom. Friday, June 27, 2008. The one silver lining is the half-siblings and other distant relatives have gotten back in touch again. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). We have been skunked and good this winter by the snow. We've had little dustings here and there, but by and large, by a matter of a few miles, we have bee. Been a long time but I thought I would share what we have planned for Josh's 8th b...

Working Motherhood and other redundancies. Thoughts and musings from the crazy world of Eli and Lena's mom. Monday, October 26, 2009. Lena had her 2nd birthday recently. She is really growing up and isn't a baby anymore. Well, she's still little, but that doesn't stop her from doing big-kid things. The surprise at her checkup was that she is gaining ground on the growth charts (although as much as she eats she should be a linebacker)! For anything good) and "Eli did it! She was a really amazing patient a...

City dwelling while learning not to dwell. Thursday, March 30, 2006. LA has dozens of farmer's markets all over town on different days of the week. Sunday I finally made it to one nearby; the Atwater Village Farmer's Market which runs from weekly from 10-2. It was fantastic. small but exciting. I made one round, bypassing the candles and soaps, the honey, the flowers and the fresh pomegranate juice. Instead I opted for:. 4 one Asian pear. 5 a bunch of radishes (just felt so springy and Peter Rabbit-y).
