Monday, 13 August 2007. We have a whisker pole but just did training runs this week, maybe next week we shall try this. On the runs I did sit on the stern deck and James came right back to the stern to lift the front and try to get her to plane better. She planed very well on some of the waves which was good fun. Saturday, 1 November 2008. 1 November 2008 - unexpected night sail. The day started out with light-to-no-wind-at-all and then a safety hiccup that lost us half an hour. The safety issue was that one of the two hand-held radios had not been charged and was low on battery. Galini. Was doing a long trip and Blue. Just pottering around for the morning, so it was important that the fully charged radio was on Galini. But it wasn't. so we had to double back and swap radios. Sunday, 15 September 2013. We replaced all the wood on the cover for the wayfarer today. Well we'd painted them beforehand, this was fixing to the frame. Hi Richard, I was just reading your blog and love the colour of your dinghy. We are just about to paint our boat and would like to do it the same colour. We are located in Spain and have been told that the colour could get very hot and perhaps we should go for something lighter. Have you had any problems with the deck getting very hot?
