Tuesday, April 29, 2014. That's What Friends Are For. Ruth and our host for the weekend, Mickey Mouse! You can tell the time of the year by the Easter Lilies in the planter box. Me (left) and Laurie on the Bug's Life ride. During this trip we each chose a princess that best represented our personalities best. You can see us wearing our pins. Ruth living "the life" on the sofa in Minnie's House. She was, after all, represented by Sleeping Beauty! Well, I slaved over the dishes! After all, I was Cinderella!

Thursday, June 5, 2014. Good Fences Thursday in Williamsburg. I come to you today from Virginia Beach, VA, where I am spending time with my daughter and her family as they prepare for a transfer to San Antonio, TX. My son-in-law has been stationed here for the past four years and one of the things I will miss most about visiting here is going to Colonial Williamsburg. Today's fences and gate are at the Bruton Parish Church. This is one sturdy gate but I love the embellishments on top to make it pretty.
