Monday, May 19, 2014. April's theme was "Beauty Rocks! And this month's bag sure did rock! Big Sexy Hair Root Pump volumizing spray mousse. I've only used a few times, but I love all Big Sexy Hair products. I am missing my big sexy hair right now but have finally been able to put it back into a high ponytail! Yep, we're gonna grow it out. I think. It's in that frumpy stage right now so we'll see if I can get through this. Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Eyeliner in Black Velvet. This eyeliner did not work fo...

The Good Life: September 2014
http://dustinandbrianne.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 17, 2014. The future has arrived. I've always tended to be one that lives in the future. My thinking and planning has been, "When I go to college, when I get married, when we have a baby, when we finish school, etc.". The future has arrived. Not on the baby part (don't get excited), but we are done with school. That has been the biggest "living in the future" for me. When we're done with school and have a job then we can do this or that or life will be wonderful. We are a happy family.

The Good Life: November 2014

Thursday, November 20, 2014. The results of my bloodwork showed some pretty serious things. I might be saying them all wrong, but here's what we understand:. 1 I have Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism. We already knew I have hypothyroidism, but Hashimoto's is an autoimmune disorder of the thyroid antibodies (which had never been tested in me before). The thyroid antibodies attack my thyroid, which is why it doesn't work right. The good news is that all of these are treatable. There are some supplements Dr&#...

The Good Life: August 2015
http://dustinandbrianne.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 6, 2015. Oh hello there. I'm back. It's been a while. We're still alive. Life is good. Really good. A few months ago I saw a job posting on Facebook for an Accounts Payable job in Midway. The job description sounded exactly like what I was doing in Portland with much better pay than my current job. I wasn't looking for a new job, but it seemed like this job was perfect for me. So I applied. And I got the job! I am now working for Millstream Group in Midway and I LOVE my job! I married a ...

Transatlanticism: November Catharsis
http://bttransatlantic.blogspot.com/2013/11/november-catharsis.html
Saturday, November 9, 2013. Hello blogging world and friends and people who actually are inclined to read this, its been some minutes. Somehow it is November already, and I am not sure when that happened. Back to the truth. I have had massive feelings of indifference. With everything. I have been struggling with some very deep parts of my identity, things and traits that I once held dear. Cryptic? How do you walk away from all of that? How does that make sense? The Good Life: Fertility Specialist and a diagnosis
http://dustinandbrianne.blogspot.com/2015/02/fertility-specialist-and-diagnosis.html
Monday, February 23, 2015. Fertility Specialist and a diagnosis. Nicole had her baby the day before we went to the specialist. Here is Avalee Dawn Cook, newest niece! After having a horrible experience with our fertility specialist in Portland (super condescending, expensive, and uncaring), I was a bit nervous to go back to a fertility specialist. I had heard lots of good things about Dr. Foulk at the Utah Fertility Center and he didn't disappoint! You're saying I have PCOS? I'm excited to make this happ...

Transatlanticism: A Little Dramantic
http://bttransatlantic.blogspot.com/2013/01/a-little-dramantic.html
Saturday, January 19, 2013. Ugh You see this pattern? Sometimes this whole thing feels all consuming and very overwhelming. Mostly, that is when I lump everything together. Everything? Mostly, I feel like I am having a mid-midlife crisis. I have even thought about what I am doing with my life, do I want to stay at LearnKey and see what else this path has in store for me? Do I want to go back to school? Or a master's degree? Or getting a master's in counseling? None of the above? Having said all of that, ...
