The Webcomicker: June 2005

http://webcomicker.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html

Who watches the watchmen? Thursday, June 30, 2005. Now that's what I call a Jesus joke. Jesus gets banned at Mousewax. I alluded to this in my previous post, but Brandon Lewis has been doing Jesus jokes over at Mousewax for almost a month now. It's been pretty hit or miss with me. It was novel at first, with the whole story arc about Jesus "dying" and them interviewing for a new Savior, but once the strip turned to George Bush jokes. JESUS, THE SON OF GOD. Playing World of Warcraft, but he's getting.

The Webcomicker: NaDruWriNi - Books and Ducks

http://webcomicker.blogspot.com/2006/11/nadruwrini-books-and-ducks.html

Who watches the watchmen? Sunday, November 05, 2006. NaDruWriNi - Books and Ducks. Edit: It's got a title now. but no picture. Deal with it.]. Being somewhat of a fatty, with a high fat diet, my tolerance for alcohol is fairly strong, so I'll be measuring my drinking in twelve ounce cups of spiked cider, each cup with probably about two shots of the Big Apple in it (I'm just mixing at will, no real rhyme or reason to it). I just finished my first cup. Had anyone heard of them two years ago? Ok, so one pr...

The Webcomicker: November 2005

http://webcomicker.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html

Who watches the watchmen? Wednesday, November 30, 2005. It's kinda like listening to yourself on a tape recorder. A funny quote by, well, me! You know how whenever someone records your voice and then plays it back for you, you're always like "Man, I sound funny"? I got that exact same feeling reading Mousewax today. You see, in today's comic he actually, word for word transcribed a quote of mine from my review of The Big Three-Oh. Laughing every time I read it. But I still think it's pretty funny. So, wh...

The Webcomicker: July 2005

http://webcomicker.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html

Who watches the watchmen? Friday, July 22, 2005. It's the Brack show! Starring me, I'm Brack! Obscure pop-culture references from Freefall. I've been reading Freefall for awhile now, and I've finally decided that the thing I like most about the comic isn't the humor (which is good), or the science (which is impeccable), but rather the ridiculously obscure sci-fi pop culture references that Stanley so consistently puts into the comics. That's right, he's picking up the interstellar communication device fi...

Who watches the watchmen? Saturday, February 04, 2006. Ctrl Alt Del: The Animation. A "still" from Ctrl Alt Del: The Animation. Hooray for the Print Screen button! Here we have Tim Buckley, who has gone through all the trouble of hiring a professional animation studio. Gotten professional voice-talent, and really assembled an entire. Of people to make a professional quality animation. This ain't no homebrew Blamimation. Are you seriously trying to tell me you don't have two bucks to spare? Of Ctrl Alt De...

My Life In Records: December 2006

http://mylifeinrecords-comic.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html

My Life In Records. Visit the official site at http:/ grantthomasonline.com/mylifeinrecords.html. Thursday, December 21, 2006. Winter break started today and I spent most of it cleaning house and working in my 4-track studio. I am still recording the "best little record I ever made twice". I say this, because most of the material I am working on was on June Bug Mix Vol. 3. The one good thing I can say at this point is that I began writing the material about this time last year and all the songs have worn...

My Life In Records. Visit the official site at http:/ grantthomasonline.com/mylifeinrecords.html. Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Derik Badman piqued my curiousity with his experimental webcomic, Maroon. And his latest project, Things Change. Looks pretty promising. He says its based on Ovid's Metamorphoses. I've never read it, but so far I've still been intrigued. Its a bit like my viewing of O Brother Where Art Thou without reading the Oddessy. He is using visual rhyming. Sunday, August 27, 2006. In which ...

I have nothing to declare besides WAR ON AUSTRIA! Saturday, January 28, 2006. Sometimes it's about fear. I want to say something. but there's nothing to say. I'm tired and sick and completely and utterly floundering, you understand, in the wake of stuff. I would talk about Something Positive. But like I said before, there aren't any words. Not really. I have nothing to declare besides WAR ON AUSTRIA! Saturday, April 29, 2006. The screaming, on the other hand, was probably a bad sign. From wow. From lots of stuff. Okay, I'll list. In order, it's Least I Could Do. Is mentioned. And the one above is from The Splendid Everlasting. And in case you were wondering, the title of the post is a Digger. To start out, I'd like to say that Digger. Is free right now. If you haven't read it, read it. If you have read it, reread it. It's much fun. I KNOW I SURE DON'T!

Or at least reviews thereof). A slip in … space… makes pace? Hmm, somewhat lost myself with that little line…. June 16, 2006. At heart, I read comics because I like stories. This isn’t to say I don’t read my fair share of gag-a-day strips, or strips that emphasize art over writing. But the comics I really find at the top of my list, the ones I find myself the most invested in… are the ones with a powerful story. I’ll confess something – I never read Checkerboard Nightmare. Then he started Starslip Crisis.
