Saturday, 1 August 2015. I've done a few craft and country markets/fayres lately so I thought I'd post up some pics of my stalls. Below is Nunney Fayre which I went to today (it did get busier than in the pic! Which was great, lots of compliments on my work and met some lovely people. I always like Nunney Fayre because it's popular with local people and visitors alike, though I think it always rains there. Also there is a Castle, which is cool (you can see it in the background). Tuesday, 12 August 2014. New A5 Vintage Style Screen Prints. I've been working for a while on these prints and finally they are complete! I have 2 finished prints so far, a collection of 3 egg cups and a little oil or vinegar jug, both in Hornsea Heirloom pattern. Saturday, 31 May 2014. Vintage Nostalgia Show Finds. Today I visited the Vintage Nostalgia Show in Stockton, Wiltshire. It was a lovely day with lots of gorgeous vintageness everywhere! So much inspiration for the home and wardrobe! Here are some of the things I bought and some of the things that caught my eye! I bought 2 Daily Mail annuals, a pile of vintage beer mats, a tin mug in which to put a plant, green bottle (of course) glass jelly mould and a beautiful beaded headband. A whole pile of beer mats!

Sunday, 8 March 2015. Sewing Machine Table Refurb. Having had this lovely but rather dark sewing machine table (which I inherited from my Nana) in my sitting room for about a year, I decided it was time to take the plunge and paint it a completely different colour! Unsurprisingly the colour was green. The paint I used was Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Florence. I did 2 coats, then sanded the edges to give the table a distressed look. Then I waxed it using Annie Sloan soft wax, and then it was done!
